What we sell
We sell two kinds of products:
- Digital products, meaning ebooks delivered as downloadable files.
- Physical products, meaning printed paperback books shipped to you.
We do not sell subscriptions or memberships. Every purchase is a one-time purchase, and no recurring charge will ever be made to your payment method.
Health and medical disclaimer
Some of our books discuss health conditions, symptoms, treatments, diet, and daily living. These books are for general information and education only. They are not medical advice, and they are not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.
Nothing you read in our books or on this store creates a doctor-patient relationship. Orders, pricing, and payment
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline any order, and we may limit or cancel quantities. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
We try to keep prices, descriptions, and availability accurate, but errors happen. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with an incorrect description, we may correct the error and cancel any affected order, refunding you in full.
Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and may change at any time before you order.
Digital products: what you are buying
When you buy an ebook, you are buying a personal, non-transferable license to read it. You may download it and read it on devices you own.
You may not resell, redistribute, share, upload, republish, or make our ebooks publicly available, and you may not remove or alter any copyright notice. You may not use our books, in whole or in part, to train or fine-tune an artificial intelligence model.
Digital products are final sale. See our Refund policy for the full details, including what happens if a download fails or you receive the wrong title.
Physical products: shipping and returns
Printed books are shipped to the address you provide. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for carrier delays.
Returns of physical books are covered by our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Intellectual property
All content on this store, including book text, cover art, descriptions, and the store design itself, is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws. Buying a book gives you the right to read it. It does not transfer ownership of the work or any rights in it.
Our books are published under our imprint and may be written under pen names. All rights in those works remain with us regardless of the name they are published under.
Acceptable use
Please use this store for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the store or its systems, interfere with its operation, scrape or harvest content, use it for any unlawful purpose, or submit false information when ordering.
Third party services
This store runs on Shopify, and payments are handled by third-party payment processors. Their handling of your information is covered by our Privacy policy and by their own terms.
No warranty
The store and everything on it are provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the store will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of your use of this store or our products. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you agree to that venue.
